|The Humans are one of the oldest races in Sundaria. Over time the Humans have paid little notice to the events of other races. Much of the known world was discovered, identified and settled by human explorers from the foundations of their history. The lore tells of an early king that brought peace to the land...but most of that knowledge has been lost and twisted over time. Humans are strong, intelligent, wise and charismatic. They are versatile, having been known to succeed in many different roles. The Humans are often kind but their arrogance and vanity may be their downfall.|
|The Orc is largest and strongest of all the races. Orcs thrive in the role of a hero. Orcs fear little and are willing to charge headlong into battle for causes they believe in. Orcs excel in roles that benefit from their physical strength and constitution. The Orcs have a troubled past linked to several other races. These stories have been passed down from the "Old Ones". Strong, loyal and single minded Orcs are wired for total domination. Befriend them - or stay out of their way.|
|The Halfling is the most isolated race in all the land. They appear small and at times are mistaken for Human children. They are generally dismissed as being no threat at all... this is a grave mistake. What they lack in strength and size they make up for in endurance and will. A Halfling will not stop until their given task is accomplished by one way or another. Halflings are long lived making them very wise. Their communities are closely knit but appear chaotic and antagonistic. This comes from their open nature with each other. Take heed...spending time with a Halfling will shed a contrasting light on good and evil. You will never know such noble goodness or see such chaotic darkness until you stare into the beautiful eyes...of a Halfling.|
|Goblins are the youngest race in the world. They are small in stature, similar to a Halfling. Goblins are masters of stealth and unrivalled in their dexterity. They are calculated and cunning, often going unnoticed. Like the Orc, very little in known of the Goblin origins. Tales say they come from the swamps, but no specifics can be traced, leaving a fog over their past. Goblins are masters of many weapons but seem to be most comfortable with smaller blades. They are survivors, using many tactics to get by when other races may give up. Goblins move quickly and with resolve to vanquish their foes. This characteristic leads many to distrust them. Goblins can be loyal friends. Their communities tend to be hive-like with each member filling a specific role.|
|Dwarves appear as stout and sturdy humanoids. They are similar to the race of Humans but are nearly two feet shorter. Beard length is the measure of status of Dwarven males. Dwarves are extremely confident and will never back down from a fight. They have the strongest constitution of any race. They are master craftsmen when it comes to metal and stone. Their passion for life is unmatched by any other race. This passion at times turns to greed, which is their primary weakness. Dwarven women are revered for their prowess in battle with many female heroes having prominent status in folklore and tradition. Dwarves are a proud race that are exceptionally loyal to their friends and wrathful to their enemies.|
|The Elves are an ancient race that is close to nature and magic. Little is known of them as they are often secretive in their dealings. They are very intelligent, making them some of the most accomplished wizards in all the land. Their intellect is nearly matched by their dexterity making them quick and skilled in melee combat. Elves are known for their grace and their beauty. They stay mostly to themselves and their affiliation to nature is reflected in their history and traditions. An Elf can be a formidable ally or a persistent foe.|
|A Champion is a paragon of warfare that stands against their foes. Champions protect others by interposing themselves between their enemies and their allies. While their primary role is defensive, this does not lessen their ability to fight. Champions are at home on the front lines of a battle driving enemies back with their sword and shield. The Champion is driven by a higher purpose of helping others.
A Champion's primary attributes are Strength and Dexterity, and they also benefit greatly from a high Constitution. A Champion's secondary attribute is Melee Attack Power.
A Champion's preferred weapons are one-handed weapons with a shield.
|A Cleric wields the power of the divine. The Cleric harnesses holy magic as both a sword and shield. The Cleric's primary role is to heal and restore their party. They have a variety of abilities to support their allies in combat. Clerics may also take an active role in combat to smite their enemies while shrouding their allies with protective magic. Clerics are often needed on the forefront of a battle. They may be found in heavier armor with a shield for protection.
A Cleric's primary attributes are Wisdom and Intelligence. A Cleric's secondary attribute is Spell Power.
A Cleric's preferred weapons are staves or a one-handed weapon with a shield.
|Wizards are masters of magic. A Wizard can incinerate their foes with fire or blast them with raw arcane might. Wizards have little use for weapons of steel or armor. Wizards can vanish from their foes or conjure an illusion to confuse their enemies. A Wizard is a powerful ally in any adventuring party.
A Wizard's primary attributes are Intelligence and Wisdom. Their secondary attribute is Spell Power.
A Wizard's preferred weapons are staves and wands.
|Rangers are masters of the wild. They utilize skill and precision to attack their enemies from afar. Rangers can also utilize their abilities to prevent enemies from getting close to them. They do this by trapping or paralyzing their foes to take them out in orderly fashion. A Ranger is always in control of the battlefield.
A Ranger's primary attributes are Dexterity and Intelligence. Their secondary attribute is Ranged Attack Power.
A Ranger's preferred weapons are bows.
|A Rogue is a master of the shadows. Rogues can slip past even the most observant of enemies, or position themselves perfectly to slip a knife into their enemies. Rogues can utilize their abilities to slow their enemies or stun them. Rogues are able to detect traps and open a variety of locks to gain access to areas many adventurers can't. Rogues utilize weapons in both hands to inflict the most damage.
A Ranger's primary attributes are Dexterity and Strength. Their secondary attribute is Melee Attack Power.
A Rogue's preferred weapons are one-handed weapons.
