Neverwinter's New Campaign System Will Delight Solo Players
The launch of Neverwinter marks another beginning of the game's development and Cryptic is working on new contents to keep old players engaged and new players coming in. The first free content update Fury of the Feywild, previously known as Module 1, will release this summer and will provide quality end-game content for solo players.
Fury of the Feywild will introduce a Campaign System, which takes players onto series of epic adventures as they join forces with the Iliyenbruen elves in an effort against Malabog and his army. By progressing in the meta quest line, players can unlock new Sharandar regions one by one. There are three major regions to unlock and explore, the developer says, each of which rewards lots of gear and other supplies. What's more, those who manage to complete the entire system can choose one of the six permanent passive buffs as an ultimate reward. However, it won't be easy, according to Cryptic, "players who reach this level of achievement will truly stand out among their peers."
The Campaign System is designed to be solo-friendly and serves as a supplement to the group PvE and PvP content.
