First comes the group stage, following a BO3 Round-robin format and all the teams will rank from 1st to 6th depending on their group stage performance. The details about the ranking rules will be updated at a later time here. The 5th and 6th teams will be eliminated and the rest 4 teams (ranking 1st to 4th) will be qualified into next single elimination stage, following an interesting 'Bubble Race' mechanism.

About Bubble Race Mechanism

It is kind of a new mechanism which was only used during WCG 2010. For example, 4 teams are qualified to G-1 LAN Fianl Bubble Race stage, ranking as:
Team A: 1st
Team B: 2nd
Team C: 3rd
Team D: 4th

The bracket will be like:
Match A: Team D vs Team C
Match B: Winner of Match A vs Team B
Match C: Winner of Match B vs Team A

The final rank will be:
Champion: Winner of Match C
2nd Place: Loser of Match C
