Neverwinter New Dev Blog Delves into Crafting Professions
Just like most of the traditional MMORPGs, crafting is a necessary and important system in the game. Neverwinter is no exception. By courtesy of a new developer blog in MMORPG.com, Perfect World Entertainment spotlighted Neverwinter's five crafting professions, namely Leadership, Mailsmithing, Platesmithing, Leatherworking, and Tailoring. Through the five professions, players can produce high-level gears and equipments themsleves or fetch a good price at the auction house.
It is easy to learn craft in Neverwinter.
Beginning at level 10, you'll be able to choose a task from one of your crafting professions, hiring your first assets - Leadership Mercenaries, Platesmithing Miners, Mailsmithing Prospectors, Leatherworking Skinners, and Tailoring Weavers. After that task is complete, you'll continue to issue tasks to advance in your desired professions, sending your Mercenaries out on Guard Duty, requesting your Prospectors to Gather Iron Ore, or asking your Weavers to Gather Wool Scraps."
Taking some time to complete the tasks, you'll be awarded experience points and some exciting resources for your professions. Your backpack space may be limited, but don't worry, you still have your inventory to accommodate your professions' assets and resources. Even if you are offline, you can still fiddle with your professions thanks to the Neverwinter Gateway website.
Tasks can be speeded up by spending astral diamonds and if you are willing to pay for the game, you can buy high quality assets and resources on the Zen Market or other vendors. But naturally, you can't get all the high-level gears by crafting. Tier 5- and Tier 6-equivalent gear will require dungeon rewards to craft.
