Recommended MMOs and Multiplayer Games to Play for August 2017
LawBreakers has recently launched a few days ago, so if you want to try a new team-based first person shooter where even the laws of physics can be shattered, now it’s the perfect time. The game is currently on sale for 29.99 euros and is available on PS4 and PC.
Even though it has a lot of competition in this genre (some people are even saying that it came up late to the party), with titles like Overwatch or Battleborn, LawBreakers brings various new gameplay mechanics such as the zero-gravity regions of the map, mixed with a cool anti-grav combat. Don’t know why, but for me it also brought a lot of nostalgic feelings from old-school games like Unreal Tournament.
When you’ll jump into your first match of LawBreakers, you’ll be struck by one particular element that makes the gameplay stand out, the combat is ultra-fast. You’ll get to use weapons that do a ton of damage and jetpacks that allows you to travel at hyper speed. You’ll probably need a few hours to get used with the combat system and the zero-gravity environment, but it will be a lot of fun.
Lawbreakers also features a decent number of playable characters that move and attack in different ways. For example, the assassin char that has a special dodge allowing her to change directions in mid-air and a grapple hook to get on top of that aerial combat. For the map objectives, we usually have dominating points on the map or capture the flag filled with nonstop action. The only flaw I found is that there is no character story, to make you feel something for your hero.
