Are you Ready to Catch Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo in Pokémon Go?
Niantic has just launched a special legendary Pokémon event at Pokémon Go Stadium in Yokohama. All attending players are able to capture the newly available legendary Pokémon Mewtwo.
This is the first time players can team up and fight against Mewtwo like the game’s official trailer but this time is exclusive in Japan, and only pre-registered players can join this epic raid battle. If you are in other regions, don’t worry since Mewtwo will also show up globally in the coming weeks
"To receive an invitation to participate in an exclusive raid battle, trainers must have successfully completed a raid recently, by defeating the raid boss, at the gym where the exclusive raid battle will be taking place. The invitations will include advance warning of when the exclusive raid will take place, giving them ample time to coordinate with other trainers before taking on the powerful raid boss.”
According to calculations, Mewtwo can be defeated by as few as two players, but only under extremely optimal conditions. For everyone else, you should assume that he’ll be a tough battle, requiring at least 10 or more players, all working at their best. Mewtwo has double weakness against dark, bug, and ghost types; so these are going to be your hard-hitters.
