Lineage Eternal Engine Will Be Upgraded to Unreal Engine 4 - Report
According to insiders, NCsoft has decided to change the engine of Lineage Eternal from the in-house engine that used in Guild Wars, to Unreal Engine 4. It's a big upgrade that will greatly improve the game's graphics. Of course that means the game has to further push back its schedule and it may skip this year's G-Star again.
In November 2011, NCsoft announced Lineage Eternal as the sequel to the first Lineage MMO, which was released in 1998. Hopefully the game can make it, as NCsoft has gradually switched their focus to mobile MMO market.
