Twilight Spirits Interview: NetEase Is Still Considering the Western Version
NetEase Games recently launched open beta test for its action MMO Twilight Spirits on PC and Steam. However due to the poor servers and overpriced cosmetic items, the game has received 67% negative reviews on Steam. Yesterday, Netease took an interview by Chinese media and responded to Steam release and English version.
NetEase believes Steam is a very open platform which mainly consists of single player games and Indie games. There are also some MMOs, and NetEase wants to reach out more gamers all over the world and provides them more options.
Most Twilight Spirits’ negative reviews are from Chinese gamers, but there are still some oversea players gave good reviews and expected to play the game with western localization. NetEase states that the reason why players made negative reviews is some console and PC gamers haven't get used to the MMOs' business model. They will take all suggestions and keep polishing he game, and what's more, the English version is also under consideration.
