Pokémon GO: PvP And Legendary Pokémon Confirmed For This Summer
One year after the release of Pokémon GO, two major features are still lacking: the ability to compete with other players, as well as legendary Pokémon such as Mew, Mewtwo, and the Legendary Birds, and now Ho-Oh, Lugia and the Legendary Dogs. If the latter had already been announced last summer by Niantic, the representative of the company, Mathieu de Fayet again confirmed the information to the Brazilian site O Globo, adding that the PvP was also on the way:
Due to the strong enthusiasm for the game, we had to postpone some new features that were originally programmed.
Now we're working on new things to come this summer, to give more importance to the team's choices with the introduction of the legendary Pokémon and the Pokémon battles between players. If there is one thing we have learned with Ingress, it is that the game holds if we are able to create social interactions between players and we are working on it.
Even though these features were expected from the start, it seems that this summer sounds a new beginning for Pokémon GO as these major features should renew the craze for both Pokémon hunting and the game itself.
