Ragnarok Mobile is the mobile spin off of the famous and loveable MMORPG Ragnarok Online. Just yesterday the game opened its doors for Pre-Open Beta Test, which means that anyone and everyone who wants to play the game may do so. Please take note that the game is in Chinese Language and the server is in China. However this does not prevent anyone, including players who know nothing about the Chinese language, to learn and enjoy the game. In fact, the game is so easy to understand that even I who also know nothing about Chinese was able to make a long guide. I would like to begin this guide from the moment you step into the stage of becoming a Mage until you reach the Wizard Job Change and a little further. I will discuss a lot of stuff, about skills, builds and gameplay which are all based on my own gameplay, opinion and experience. Please take note that you DO NOT have to follow each step and you can do whatever you like throughout the process as long as it makes you happy. I highly suggest that you yourself try to find the gameplay and build which suits your taste.

~ MAGE JOB CHANGE GUIDE ~

What to Expect during and after  Mage Job Change
1: You be given 3 questions in which you will answer by selecting either O or X
2:
 Failing to answer correctly will result in restarting the Question and Answer portion.
3: You won’t be able to turn back and select another job/class path after completing the question and answer portion.
4: You will battle monsters after the Question and Answer stage. So please make sure that you bring in some pots and make good use of your First Aid Skill!
5: In case your character dies, please use the rest/sit command after tapping the emoticon button to make your character regenerate HP and SP faster.
6: The Crafted weapon on the beginners guide is much more powerful compared to the weapon reward after completing the Job/Class change quest. So don't hesitate to sell it or whatever you want to do with it. I kept mine as a memento.

Upon reaching Novice Job level 10, you may now perform the Job Change Quest to become a Mage.

After following the Main Quest, the quest tracker should ask you to enter the Job Change Building.

Your character will automatically approach and talk to the GrandNPC which will assist you on the Job Change process.

After completing the conversation with the GrandNPC, Please talk to the Wizard NPC inside the Job Change Building.

After accepting the Mage Job Change quest, Awe to the marvelous skills of the Mage class along with its stat bonus! Please tap the confirm button to proceed.

Just like any other Job, the employer, in this case it is the Wizard NPC will ask you a few questions (3). You should answer correctly to proceed... and if you are like me, just follow the answers below!
 
 

After the Question and Answer portion, please tap the confirm button to proceed.

The Mage Job Change Quest will not only focus on your intellectual capability but also with your physical capacity.
Tip:  Ignore the wild boars and kill the plants first!
 
Tip: Use your First Aid (Heal) skill to regenerate 100 HP.

Now for the last part...
 
After defeating the big boar, please push the lever and exit the arena.
 
Talk to the Wizard NPC and tap the confirm button.
Tap the button on the lower right corner to proceed.

Please talk to the Wizard NPC after walking through the red carpet. Tap accept to complete the Job Change.

~CONGRATULATION! YOU ARE NOW A MAGE!!!~
Please talk to the Wizard NPC again to exit the Wizardry hall and please don't ever forget that you have to talk with the GrandNPC and the NPC beside him to get your very first wand and unlock your Mage skills!
 
~ MAGE SKILLS ~
Magician/Mage skills compose of core magic and elemental attacks. Fire, Water, Wind and Basic Magic skills that will help you understand how the elemental table works.
 

SOUL STRIKE: Call upon the spirits to attack your target with pure base magic damage.
Undead Type monsters will receive BONUS damage.
