First Impressions of Lineage: Red Knights
The loom on the horizon that is Lineage 2: Revolution is over. It's the glorious basking in it's glory that will take a bit, especially since servers keep timing out haha. So it's time then to give a brief breakdown of what to expect from Lineage's offshoot game, Red Knights.
As a side scroller, it starts out as standard fare. Turn based system with great graphics and special moves that are pure eye candy. But the first thing that caught my interest was the fast that its in english! the Hangul is there but underneath it is English, which makes this playable to anyone with a Korean Account. the second thing that I noticed is that it's based around timing and placement of your men. you have your heros, then you have your pets, which are other characters that you get out of gatcha machines. You and your weapons for each character are fully upgradeable and once you get into the game, you'll be distinguishable from others.
Daily rewards abound and Sign in awards abound too. Balancing healing and fighting and cautiously awaiting timers to deal more damage in practice is fun and some times nerve wracking. Im sure this game will give more enjoyment the more i play it so I hope you will enjoy it too.
The little conversations that these creatures have with each other is great, it adds to the story and i kinda felt bad for kicking the orcks out of their homes. Little details abound too, the skeleton head spinning around when it dies, to the slow motion kills kicking the dust up as you move and attack and the bounce in the clothing and outfits all make this game a joy to play.
