Pokémon GO: Still #1 App Store Earner in The US Despite 79% Paying Player Drop
Pokemon Go, the most popular mobile AR game of this summer, has been reported a huge decrease in paying users. Compared with the peak in-game purchase in mid-July, the number of of players in the U.S. Still shelling out for then dropped by 79% according to Slice Intelligence.
It would seem as if the game was in trouble due to the alarming drop rates, however, the game remains to be the most profitable game in the mobile market - taking a 28% share of the market, which is 6 times more than Crush Saga made.
Most players complains about there is no much gameplay in the game. So Nintendo released a brand new 0.37 and 1.7 update for Android and iOS, which may bring back some users. By the way, the game is still region-locked China. We may except to see some new records being broken.
