Dark and Light: New Gameplay Details, Business Model and Chinese Beta Schedule

The talent tree system determines the gameplay will be heavily based on player interaction. You have to trade, play, and interact with other players to reach your goal and get what you want. For instance, you are trying to learn a new magic but find that you don't have the required knowledge, or you lack the materials to build a necessary building, or you don't have the NPC that you need to complete the learning, and you'll need to reach out to your friends, allies, or other players for help.
We know the game allows you to build castles and other buildings, now we know you'll be able to make the same building function differently by adding magic to it.
Time and season in Dark and Light are synchronized with those in the real world, according to Snail Games' VP Sun Dahu.
And about business model, Snail Games says the game may not take the microtransaction model. Does that mean the game will be buy-to-play or subscription-based?
Regarding beta schedule, the game is expected to start beta test in Q4 2016, presumably in China first.
Last but not least, the game will support VR.
