Pokemon Go is a worldwide phenomenon. It's fun, it's addictive, and it's absolutely everywhere. The app is just out for 1 week, Nintendo is not the only company benefiting from the launch of Pokemon GO. Many restaurants owners are now rolling in the dough as they utilizing Pokemon GO’s lure module to bring in customers.
New York L’inizio Pizza Bars’ business went up 75% after its manager, Sean Benedetti, paid $10 to have a dozen of Pokemon lured to the restaurant, according to the New York Post.
Twitter users also posted numerous restaurants are using lures to boost business.
Fluent, a digital advertising company, made a survey of 1,885 adults, asking their interest and thoughts around the game. According to the date, 20 % of Americans say that they have downloaded the game onto their mobiles, while another 9% of respondents claim that they plan to download the app. Of those who have downloaded the game, 57% have visited a new store or restaurant as a result of the game and 81% of those who have made a purchase.
