Pokemon Go will Allow Players to Trade Their Pokemon
Although Pokemon Go has just soft-launched in some selected region, the game has already taken global gamers’ heart by storm. However, Pokemon Go is currently focused on catching and battling Pokemon but lacks of social interactive gameplay. Recently The Pokemon Company’s CEO John Hanke takes an interview with Business Insider and talks about the future plans of this highly-anticipated game. He states that the Pokemon Trading feature will be added to the game, allowing players to trade hard-collected Pokémon with friends and strangers.
While he didn't go into specifics as to how Pokemon Trading feature would work, Hanke says that trading ties in nicely with one of "Pokemon Go's" core virtues, which is that it encourages players to interact with each other in both the virtual and real worlds. Swapping Pokémon around would foster those kinds of interactions.
In addition, Hanke also says that there's going to be improvements to the game's augmented reality, or AR technology, which uses your phone's camera to make it look like Pokemon are in your home, on your sidewalk, or riding your bus. He says that this was a "great first step," but there's a lot more they can do.
