Overwatch - Honest Game Review
So Overwatch is only a few days away from its official release and as you can tell from the numerous articles, videos and posts all over the internet the past few days after the open beta ended, the hype is real!
What is Overwatch?
At this point, it would be hard to find a gamer who never even heard of Overwatch, regardless of game genre preferences. Nevertheless, I am obliged to enlighten you in case you doesn’t know about it.
Overwatch is a class based First Person Shooter, published by Blizzard. It is Blizzard’s first attempt to the shooter genre since the cancelled Starcraft: Ghost game.

Overwatch had a brief open beta period which ended a few days ago. The game was available for everyone to play to their heart content.
And so I did.
I have to admit that before playing the game, I was a bit skeptical about it. I already knew that there was a huge hype about it and having experienced the same scenario with Heroes of the Storm which left me with a huge hole in my chest, I was worried that Overwatch may turn out to be a fancier, cheap imitation of Team Fortress 2.
And I was wrong!
At first, the plan was to play the game just enough, so I could get a good grasp of it and write a review, but it didn’t go that way. Instead, I found myself playing throughout the whole Open Beta event because I was sincerely having fun.
