Maplestory 2: Someone Only Used 8 Hours to Hit Level Cap in China Closed Beta
According to an interview with the Chinese game media, Maplestory 2 game designer said closed beta players had been playing very creatively. They would expect 28 hours for players to hit level 30, which was also the level cap in 1st CBT but in fact, someone only used 8 hours to do that in the first day. The reason behind that is many of those players once played in the Korean version so they know how to level up rapidly.
Game designer also said they will add more Maplestory monsters and dungeons into the sequel and they will consider naming NPCs and maps with the old Maplestory names. As for the house and appearance customization, Tencent said they will consider decreasing the DIY fees so players can have more freedom creating their own unique styles.
