The MMORPG genre is struggling. It's difficult to innovate with the hardware and technologies available, and the result is you see more indie MMOs but less truly successful ones. Will VR save MMO? Too early to say, but some companies have begun the exploration. Elite: Dangerous is one of the MMOs you can play using Oculus Rift, Vindictus will get VR support later this year, and Wizard Online is a VR MMORPG developed from the ground up.

I suggest you to keep an eye on Vindictus's VR version because it looks fun, and so is Wizard Online. For now, in this month, no VR MMOs but something still worth your attention.

Tree of Savior
Early Access: March 29
Free for All: April 28

This is the first MMO imcGames publishes in the global market and it's not an easy road from development to global release. Fortunately they keep listening to the voice of the community: they changed the early access plans based on community feedback, and then they opened European and Southeast Asian servers for the game. Now players in NA, EU and SEA can expect optimized network by playing in their own servers.

The gameplay content isn't different to its Korean version. You can choose from one of the two starting towns to begin your adventure (each town has a unique quest line until a certain point), and as you progress you gradually unlock over 40 different classes and pick your favorite class combination. The game is the classic grinding style MMO where you can farm EXP from main quests, side quests, and daily dungeons, etc. In addition to various different classes and abilities, Tree of Savior features lots of different items and equipment obtained from chests and dungeons that can make your character visually unique.

You!
