Beginner Guide: Hearthstone Spell/Synergy Clarification #1
Have you ever wondered wonder what the trigger order could be if you trade your Sylvanas Windrunner with your oppo’s Sylvanas Windrunner? Do you want to know if there is a way to kill mage with iceblock? Here I would like to clear up your confusion and list some clarification of synergy or spell effects which may call into question.
1. Sylvanas Windrunner vs Sylvanas Windrunner
Sylvanas is a very common Legendary once. Almost everyone have it in deck. So it is very common to see 2 Sylvanas on board. Actually, if you trade your Sylvanas with your oppo’s Sylvanas, the Sylvanas who was played first will trigger her death rattle first.
If your oppo have a Sylvanas Windrunner and a 1/1 minion on board. You have only Sylvanas Windrunner one board. And you played the Sylvanas Windrunner before your oppo. And this turn, you use your Sylvanas Windrunner to trade your oppo’s Sylvanas Windrunner, you will get the 1/1 minion of your oppo, and then his Sylvanas Windrunner’s death raggle will be triggerd, the 1/1 minion will return to your oppo’s board. In reverse, if it is your oppo who played the Sylvanas Windrunner before you. You will have the 1/1 minion on board.
2. Is there anyway to kill Mage with ice block activated?
The answer is no. When the iceblock activated you can’t deal any damage to the mage anymore this turn. No even with Eye for an Eye or Leper Gnome. But if the mage only have 1 health left. But you can play Knife Juggler and Imp Master. If you got lucky you’ll have the game finished when you end the turn.
3. Buff and silence
It is very common that you buff a minion’s health, and then the minion was damaged. What will its health be if a silence is used to it?
There are two circumstances. If the minion’s current health is more than its original heath, its health will become the same as its original health after silenced. If the minion’s current health is less than its orinial one, its health will remain the current number after silenced.
4. Shaman and Paladin are the 2 classes with revive spells.
*If a minion revived by Ancestral Spirit or Redemption, it will kept the effective before it was played, like death rattle and charge.
*If a minion has shield, when it revived it will also have shield whether it ever lost its shield or not. So Argent Commander is very powerful with revived minions.
* Keep in mind that, Ancestral Spirit gives your minion a death rattle, it will become invalid if being silenced.
