Report: Destiny 2 Is Further Delayed and Is Likely Not Going to Release in 2016
Bungie hasn't released big content update for Destiny since they released The Taken King expansion last September. The developer is cooking up something big for 2016 which will be coming in a few months. It’s not Destiny 2 though as anonymous source told Kotaku that a small group in the Destiny team will work on new DLC packs to make up for Destiny 2’s delay. But it seems that the plan is changed, but the new plan is to be decided.
Kotaku’s writer who had contact with the source wrote:
I don't know what else they'll wind up doing in 2016, and from the sound of it, Bungie isn't sure either. Bungie may have set unreasonable player expectations with their year-one schedule, which delivered a major new DLC pack every few months; this year, that ain’t happening.
Something new is definitely coming to Destiny players but it’s almost sure that it won't be Destiny 2.
