Funn1k leaves Na'Vi, leaving only 2 signed players
Long time Na'Vi member and DotA 2 veteran, Gleb 'Funn1k' Lipatnikov, has announced via his Facebook page that we will be leaving the Ukrainian team that he has played with for the last 2 years. His departure will mean that the only players left on the Na'Vi roster are Danil 'Dendi' Ishutin and Akbar 'SoNNeikO' Buatev.
Funn1k's departure message to his fans was simple: "Dear fans, I'm out of Navi, it's time for me to take some rest and enjoy Major". Na'Vi have had a slow decline since probably around The International 4, barely making it to The International 5 and having mixed results for the whole of 2015.
The news about Funn1k follows the announcement from the Na'Vi organisation that their DotA 2 team was disbanding. That development essentially meant that Alexander 'XBOCT' Dashkevich left the team and Na'Vi used two standins for online tournaments.
For the moment, it looks like Na'Vi will be left with just 2 full time players, until after the major when they will presumably look for some new talent in the next roster shuffle period. Funn1k will have to enjoy the Frankfurt Major from the sidelines this time around, but who knows what will happen come the next Major.
