Cloud9 Dota 2 roster disbanded - confirmed by owner
After an unsuccessful run during TI5, the Cloud9 Dota 2 roster has officially disbanded. This news was initially announced on the Twitch stream of the former Cloud9 support Misery, but was soon echoed by his teammates and the team owner himself. As C9 owner Jack Etienne tweeted earlier, the organization will still have a Dota 2 roster, but the team will be completely revamped. As of now, there is no further information regarding specific roster changes, or if any TI5 C9 members will be retained.
Teams often move players around after TI, especially when they are thought to have underperformed. The disbanding of the TI5 Cloud9 roster marks the beginning of this traditional post-TI shuffle, and more roster shifts are sure to follow.
