Blizzard Joins the Lawsuit Between Lilith Games and Valve Corporation
Earlier this year, Blizzard Entertainment once sued Soul Hunters’ (former name: Soul Clash) developers Longtu Games and Lilith Games for copyright infringement in Taiwan, but reserve the right to further pursue litigation in mainland China. Now Blizzard wants to safeguard legal rights in mainland China by joining Valve Corporation who has officially taken a legal action against Longtu Games and Lilith Games for the same reason last week.

Soul Hunters appears to heavily borrow familiar elements from Dota in Warcraft 3, and even its Chinese name “刀塔传奇” used the Chinese words “刀塔” which is official Dota 2’s logo and name in China, therefore there is no doubt that Longtu Games and Lilith Games is currently under fire by Blizzard and Valve.
