You Can Master All Crafting Professions In The Elder Scrolls Online
The Elder Scrolls Online's character progression video released early this month highlighted the skills line and skill/character progression. In a follow-up FAQ, the developer answered questions about skill system and talked more details that weren't featured in last week's video. As for crafting, it's confirmed that one character can learn all professions.
You can master all the tradeskills with one character if you so choose. However, that is a significant time and skill point investment and you will be ignoring other parts of your character. We discussed having a tradeskill maximum, but people create secondary characters to get around this limitation anyway, so we felt it just wasn’t worth it to limit this freedom.
Other key points of the skill system:
- You can reset your skills points if you don't like it by visiting a shrine and paying some gold. You
- You can spend all attribution points on one of the three attributions (health, magicka, stamina)
- There are two skill lines that are supposed to be useful in PvP activities in Cyrodiil
- Health, magicka, and stamina can affect other stats. For example, magicka affects spells' overall efficacy in addition to how much "mana" you have
