XLGAMES's blockbuster ArcheAge is a highly-anticipated next-generation MMORPG that has been developed since 2006 by a legendary game developer, Jake Song, best known for his hit game Lineage. After went through five closed beta tests and one open beta test, ArcheAge finally was released in Korea on January 15, 2013. It will be published by Tencent Games in China(the debut test is on May 22th) and by Trion Worlds in North America, Europe, Turkey, Australia and New Zealand. As a so-called next-gen "sandpark"(a hybrid of the sandbox and themepark) MMORPG, ArcheAge highlights four features to be the unique.

ArcheAge is using CryENGINE3 and pretty good soundtracks to give players an audio-visual feast. The gorgeous graphics provide a lost paradise with a land of idyllic beauty as well as reality.

The ArcheAge story was wrote by one of the famous fantasy authors in Korea involved with creating a storyline from the beginning.
In the period of ancient civilization which dates back to 2000 years ago, 12 heroes from different races decided to adventure to the most mysterious place in the continent - Eternity Courtyard, in search of the secret of origins of the world and the creators.
After 2000 years, what do the 12 heroes find is still unknown. So the warriors of different races are ready to start again to search for the footprint of the heroes and know more about their legend and the secret of the origin of world. A spectacular searching journey starts from here...
3. Absolute Freedom
ArcheAge put players in a zoneless world with various options. The game promises to remove the restrictions that have hindered other MMORPGs, especially concerning character classes and skills. You can build boats and sail all around the in-game world and pirate from each other. There is also free open world PVP to loot rights for the victor.
4. Players can Change the World
ArcheAge introduces players to a fantasy sandbox world where they begin their journey on one of two continents: Nuia and Harihara. From there, everything else is up to the player, from what character they play, to where they go, and why. In the open world, you can shape the land with building and landscaping, build houses and villages, plant trees and grow gardens, create statues and other town decorations, all non-instanced. You can claim and rule the contient by guilds and even set taxation rules.
