Skyrim Mod Falskaar Creator Got His Dream Job, While on Destiny
Did you hear about the gamer who spent 2,000 hours over the last year building Skyrim mod Falskaar? His name is Alexander J. Velicky and his wish was a job at Bethesda.
"The best way to show Bethesda that I want a job there and should be hired is to create content that meets the standards of their incredible development team," Velicky said.
Now he finally made his dream come true. He got his dream job, but not for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim developer Bethesda. His mod was noticed by Bungie, which has given him a job as associate designer for Bungie's latest next-gen MMO Destiny.
He accepted the job and expressed his thanks on the Elder Scrolls forum for the community's support of his mod, "I've accepted an Associate Designer position at Bungie, Inc. I cannot express how excited I am for this. But this thread isn't about me. This is about me thanking you; The Community."
