At BlizzCon 2013, Blizzard formally announced World of Warcraft's new expansion Warlords of Draenor with a lot of new contents like new character model, new world Draenor, new raid, etc. But apart from the debut of WoW new expansion, there was also some breaking news revealed by Blizzard.

Blizzard Entertainment Senior Vice President of Story and Franchise Development Chris Metzen had an interview with Korean media at BlizzCon 2013 and unveiled a lot of details such as Emerald Dream is likely to be designed to a raid, Alliance will have a new leader and more. Here are the main points of the interview:

Emerald Dream is likely to be made as a raid or an area

Emerald Dream was a wonderful element. Developers at Blizzard had discussed many times about if it was necessary to make it as an independent expansion. However, to structure an entire expansion around a thick green forest seems very boring. So they thought Emerald Dream had better be made as a raid or an area, instead of an entire expansion, Chris Metzen said.

In addition, Chris Metzen expressed the development of WoW was still their top priority in the foreseeable future and there was no plan to develop Warcraft IV at present. In the aspects of RTS games, they would continue focusing on StarCraft II.

The Orcs would be corrupted by the Burning Legion in Warcraft movie

Chris Metzen didn't mention too many things about Warcraft film which was expected to be released in Dec, 2015. The film was still in the stage of casting and the theme of Warcraft film would be the orcs were corrupt due to the lure of the Burning Legion. Do you think if Warcraft film will be delayed like Blizzard games?
