DVS Gaming's Horde guild on Zul'jin-US server recently downed Heroic Gruul, the first boss in Blackrock Foundry--Blizzard's latest raid in World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor.
Brief Overview

-Overwhelming Blow will cause massive damage on the main tank, and anyone within 10 yards. This will leave a DoT, causing damage to ramp up with each time the tank is hit. The main tank will need to position himself to be the only one getting hit by this, while the off tank stays off to the side to avoid being hit.

-Inferno Slice is cast every 16-17 seconds when Gruul is at max rage. This is indicated by his rage bar, and when cast, will reset this bar. The damage from this ability is incredibly massive and will need to be split amongst several players, as well as it leaves a debuff and DoT that will ramp up future Inferno Slice damage. It is best to split the raid group into two groups, and the main tank should stack with one group just before the Inferno Slice. A group will need to soak two Inferno Slices, and tanks should swap at two or three stacks of the Inferno DoT, but make sure to taunt after the Overwhelming Blow has fallen off.  *See Diagram for positioning.

-Overhead Smash is cast during Phase 1, causing a large line of ground effects and will need to be avoided by everyone in the raid.

-Petrifying Slam will knock back players, slowing them and turning them into stone. Gruul will cast Shatter, shattering players' stoneforms and causing damage to anyone within 8 yards. Players will need to spread just after the knockback to avoid sharing Shatter damage.

-Cave Ins will occur during Phase 2, causing large rocks to fall from the ceiling into an easily visible ground effect. Everyone will need to move out of these.

-Destructive Rampage will cause Gruul to become untankable, have increased haste, and cause 4 quick Overhead Smashes. This is cast every 2 minutes, and players will need to move quickly to avoid damage.
