Cheap Warlock Deck! Play in an Easy Way!
This is my deck. I don't think Epic or Legendary cards are critical elements in Hearthstone, but skills and strategies play an important role. Therefore most of cards in my deck are common and rare. Here are details:
Dark Iron Dwarf
Lord of the Arena*2
Priestess of Elune*2
The curve of this deck is quite decent that coves from early game and later game. Six cheap cards help players draw and drop smoothly. If you are lucky enough, playing Flame Imp and Voidwalker in the in the early (if you get the coin, you can play them in T1) and make a pressure for your opponents. Only 2 mana cost in the early, this combination could deal at least 4 damage and the HP of Voidwalker is quite durable in the early game. Either way, the combination between Argent Squire and Power Overwhelming is my favorite. If I get one, I will save it for the other.
However not everyone is lucky enough to draw what they want in the early stage. That is the reason why I chose many low cost cards in my deck. If you always miss the cards you need, his hero power could help much. But I don’t suggest players to use if they are facing a negative situation, since his hero power could make things worse.
After T2, choices are enrich. Succubus is a good card for a rush style, 4/3 is quiet decent for players in the early while making a big pressure for your opponent. I would keep it in my hand instead, if I draw it in the later without enough cards in hands. Sometimes we should strategically save some cards, for example: Faerie Dragon is a 2 mana card which could not be aimed by spell, however, it performances well under the shield of Taunt. Drain Life is critical for classes like Warlock who is famous for self-abuse mechanics, helping destroy minions dropped in the early stage without taking any damage.
I would bring two Shadow Bolts. You can drop one in the early stage, while save the other for a fatty dropped in later stage. Especially for classes like Rogue, Druid and Priest, powerful spell removal is critical. Their minions could grow up and become monsters in the next turn by mutual buff if you cannot removal them in your turn.
Soulfire could make an important role in 4 mana drop. Four damage could make a huge injury without any mana cost (Discard a random card), two of course! Spellbreaker could silence many core cards’ buff making them into nothing. If you have Taunts on the board, dropping Stormwind Knight is a good choice. Drop Hellfire if the board is out of your control, its wide AOE could break most Shaman swarm and Hunter beast combo, wiping them our of the board.
The flavor of high mana drop is Lord of the Arena. Try to play some tricks to force cards like removal and silence to be dropped before your drop Lord of the Arena. If the board is under your control, drop Priestess of Elune instead.
