FFXIV Producer Apologized for Its Early Access Problems
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn officially releases on August 27th. Fans who have pre-ordered the game can get an early access on August 24th. However, there have been some log in problems during the early access. Users complained that it was difficult to log in and create characters in popular worlds. Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida posted a message on the game's forum to apologize for the early access problems. He stated that several of the load-related issues are still persisting, so they "have nevertheless decided to implement login restrictions for the time." Fans haven't responded to his apologies positively, because it’s not clear how long these restrictions will be in place.
The game launches on PlayStation 3 and PC on August 27. Its PS4 version will come in 2014.
