Recommended Economical Cards for Priest
Circle of Healing(Restore #4 Health to ALL minions.)
Silence(Silence a minion.)
These cards are quite economical for players in the biginning. Players can combine Anduin Wrynn with Northshire Cleric (Whenever a minion is healed, draw a card.) or Gurubashi Berserker (Whenever this minion takes damage, gain +3 Attack.) to maximize the buff. But Anduin Wrynn could neither control the battle nor provide advantage in the first three founds without the help of high AOE cards. It needs to point out that Circle of Healing would heal all the minions in the battle including enemy’s. Usually Circle of Healing should couple with Northshire Cleric to remit the side effect and offer more draws for players.
Auchenai Soulpriest (Your cards and powers that restore Health now deal damage instead.) is a powerful card exclusive for Priest making the Circle of Healing into a high AOE card. Since Priest is too weak to deal with minions in the early game, Auchenai Soulpriest can shift Health into damage and clean up the battleground.
Slience (Silence a minion.) is a powerful but economical card without any Mana consumption. Any card silenced by it won’t get any buff in this match. For example: if some minions are powered by Twilight Drake (Your cards and powers that restore Health now deal damage instead) or Questing Adventurer (Whenever you play a card, gain +1/+1.), Slience could remove their buff.
Holy Smite (Deal 2 damage.)
Power Word: Shield (Give a minion +3 Health.)
Divine Spirit (Double a minion’s Health.)
Inner Fire (Change a minion’s Attack to be equal to its Health.)
Holy Smite (Deal 2 damage.) can make a decent AOE in the early game with only 1 Mana cost, while it couldn’t make an important role in the late game.
Power Word: Shield (Give a minion +3 Health.) and Divine Spirit (Double a minion’s Health.) are a good couple which can both boost the HP limit. What’s more if you have Inner Fire (Change a minion’s Attack to be equal to its Health.) that would build a strong and powerful tri-iron lineup.
Shadow Word: Pain (Destroy a minion with 3 or less Attack.)
Fade (Give your minions Taunt. Draw a card.)
Mind blast (Deal 5 damage to the enemy hero.)
Greater Heal (Restore 2 Health to a character for each card in your opponent's hand.)
Shadow Word: Pain is quite useful for Priest and offers a high AOE in the early game. So I suggest players should pick 2 to their deck. Actually I like Fade very much, because it offers taunts to all the minions without taking any vacancy. Low cost high effect!
Greater Heal is a rare card offering a high Health restore for Preist. Coupled with Auchenai Soulpriest (Your cards and powers that restore Health now deal damage instead.), Greater Heal will become a high AOE card. In addition, Prophet Velen could fourfold the effect making Greater Heal to be the trump card in battle.
Priest is good at healing and supporting in Hearthstone, but not high AOE when compared with Shaman and Rouge. He will exhaust opponent in the late game and keep cards in a good interaction.
