Spell cards:

According to their different traits, each class in Hearthstone has 15-20 spell cards. This type of cards can be divided into three parts: attack, defense and support. The spell cards can only be used during your turn and most of the cards go into effect in the current turn. Of course, there are some spell cards that need to be under specific conditions so as to become effective, such as "secret". Spell cards play an important role when players customized their own decks.

Minion Cards:

Minion card is another necessary part in the deck building. There are a wide range of minion cards in Hearthstone but it can be mainly divided into two types: one is "Specific Minion" and another is "Neutral Minion". Every class has their own specific minions and neutral minions are available for all the classes. Different minions have different attack and health. When a minion’s health is less than or equal to zero, the minion is dead and would be destroyed. Minion cards can not only cover the shortage of spell cards but also can create or absorb damage during the combat.

Equipment cards:

Equipment cards can enhance hero's abilities, such as increase attack or defense. But currently, most of the equipment cards only promote hero's attack. Maybe more defense will be added in the further updates.

Everytime you use the equipment card, its durability will reduce, e.g., you use the dagger to attack your opponent, the durability of the dagger reduces by 1 point. When the durability becomes 0, then the equipment will be removed from the game.
