World of Warplanes Flight School Helps You Fight Better
Wargaming.net has started the second class in Flight School to walk the "pilots" in World of Warplanes through the four classes of warplanes and introduce the basics of cooperation within a flight unit. The four different classes of warplanes include Light Fighter, Attack Aircraft, Heavy Fighter and Carrier-based Fighter.
The Light Fighters with high maneuverability are designed to destroy enemy aircrafts, especially the Carrier-based Fighters. But don't attack ground targets when on a Light Fighter.
Attack Aircrafts are very different from Light Fighters. Attack Aircrafts are loaded with powerful heavy guns. Pilots can use the heavy firepower to attack ground targets during battle. They are unsuitable for dogfighting due to the lack of mobility which is to the opposite of Light Fighters. At last, don't assault Attack Aircrafts head-on, or you will most likely be destroyed.
Heavy Fighters have impressive firepower and durability at the expense of speed and maneuverability. They are able to dogfight as well as carry bombs and rockets. Heavy Fighters can also destroy ground targets without AA gun cover.
Carrier-based Aircrafts have traits of both Light Fighters and Heavy Fighters.
World of Warplanes is currently in open beta. You can check out the tutorial video by yourself before you succeed in the clouds.
